My RC51 was second slowest bike at bike Rally! lol

But at this race, fastest was not good. It was a slow race and for those who do not know what a slow race is, its when there are two lanes about 5ft across and 30ft or so long. The object of the race is to be the LAST one across the finish line without putting your feet down so its a race of balance. I beat out the whole field and the one I lost to was a 12 year old kid on a klx140 dirt bike.

He had a little unfair advantage but 1st place to him meant a lot more than 1st would ever mean to me so I was happy he won.

But second place still got $75. I also got second on two other comps they had that day so I ended up taking home $225. Not bad for just out there having fun riding the bike.

On another note, I prob had more people taking pictures of the RC51 then any other bike there. I was also getting many

when I would start it up and let the jardines sing. Looks to be that the RC51s are still crowd favorites.

Nice one!

A lot of the older riders over here (and the new ones once they pass) seem to forget about slow manouvers...

When they take their CBTs they are taught how to balance the throttle, the rear brake and the clutch inorder to allow them to ride about 5MPH (for when they need to do u-turns or are in traffic etc).

I think we need some pictures!

Right hand hitting tank on sharp right hand corner..........which moved throttle position shut.. which has almost caused me to dump at slow right turn. Adjust for it now by gripping throttle knowing its going to hit tank.........

This is first bike I have had without a cutout.. or that does this. I can shift the clip ons further 'forward' ..but will give less comfy reach (more forward)... does anyone have this experience with the bars hitting, or rather kind of pinching your hands ?

I guess nobody showed up with their trials bike, with a tank full of 1.5gal you could probably sit inside a 5x30 box for hours and turn laps. I have a trials track in my back yard which is smaller than this

Here are some pictures from the bike rally. I know no helmet in the pictures but trust me I had mine there and just didnt feel the need when I was creeping through the parking lot. I put my jacket on though.

Oh yeah I won second in the two up "mandom" slow race also. Thats my buddy Tyler, he had the gold Daytona 955i in the back grown and my brother Tom is in the blue polo starting the race. (his dealership is who put it on) On the weiner grab thats my brother and his girlfriend.
