| Torque specs Does anyone know the torque specs for the oil pan and side engine cover bolts? |

| Re: Torque specs the 8mm side cover bolts should be 28inch lbs, and the 10 mm pan bolts should be 14ft lbs, but i may be wrong, you need a manual!!!!!

That is about 336ft-lb which means 2 170lb guys sitting on top of 1ft wrench and jumping up and down  |

(the engine side covers and oil pan bolts are 6mm flanged hex)
6mm flange bolt (8mm head, small flange) 7 Ft/Lbs or 84 In/Lbs. (10 Nm)
6mm flange bolt (8mm head, large flange) 9 Ft/Lbs or 108 In/Lbs. (12 Nm) |

in-lb in my experience are rarely found as specs and it is usually on stuff that I just go by the feel of the hand. Haven't had anything gone loose in 20 years or stripped. |
