| I searched a lil found nothing. Fuel injection light coming on and staying on. I searched a lil found nothing. Fuel injection light coming on and staying on. I hit a bump and the fuel injection light came on. the bike hesitated and then kept running just fine. I was riding in the rain and kind of freaked cuz I htought it was going to die. thing is i rode it 100 + miles back home with the light on. it seemed fine not sure if it felt down on power or not. the bike has 10 k on it and i bought it with 2500k and its been babied. batery is 2 years old but still starts it etc.... Has anyone had this issue? I am not getting any hesitation but the light is worrying me. Any ideas on what it could be? at the end of the ride i checked it and it coems on and goes off when just idling but stays on when i ride. really strange... HELP! | |

 | Re: I searched a lil found nothing. Fuel injection light coming on and staying on. check these items...... is the fuel filter clogged? fuel pump sound weaker than normal? loose connector at the injectors, computer, check 'em all air injection valve bad? bad valve purge control solonoid?

| Re: I searched a lil found nothing. Fuel injection light coming on and staying on. Have you jumped the wires under the tail to check the fault codes? The FI light can come on for a whole bunch of reasons. |

| Re: I searched a lil found nothing. Fuel injection light coming on and staying on. Just joined this forum today. I had the same problem with my bike last night. Let my father in law ride it and when it came back the FI light is on. Not really sure what to check. |

FI light came on, checked my codes and threw three. 7. 9 and 18 This cant be right as if the 18 was correct the bike would not be running. I cleared the codes and nothing has come back on and the bike is running fantastic. Suggestions? |
