| Re: how do i stop the bucking a low rpm's I know that the original poster seemed to have had enough of suggestions but this may serve as an exercise for the rest of us. With stock gearing we know what it means to have slowed down to first in a tight bumpy corner and try to get out of the hole again.
Other than the general tuning characteristics of the engine, could flywheel effect be part of this? I know my little 20 year old 600 4cyl can out pull the rc from 1500-2500 and even though it has a higher redline it just feels uncomfortable running high.
So maybe it is rotational inertia that beats the erratic speeding and slowing of the crank at low rpm and can smooth it out, but with the ill effects of resisting to go to high rpm. I wonder if anyone has ever altered the flywheel to positive or negative direction and can comment on the difference. |
