rear brake light

Pulled my bike in the garage after a short ride. Was putting it on the rear stand and for some reason the bike fell on the right side. I WAS PISSED! So I picked it up and saw that the mirror was broke and a scratch on the rear cowel on the sticker. Not too bad to fix, but my rear brake light doesn't work. The pedal is not bent and the light works when I pull the front brake lever. What can it be.
