| Re: Bike contest The RC51 is I do admit the better looking one (but others may like the classic bike/looks) - how comes you've never put yours up against his?

Same thing happens when I go to classic car shows, I'd rather vote for a car which gets used everyday (as in oftern) and has a few blemishes rather than one which either gets trailered everywhere (and doesn't move)

| Re: Bike contest What a racket that forum is! I had not seen it before and in the past week I have run into 3 links from different sources leading to it, so I finally registered.
Surprisingly they blamed all the SZ and Rogue gangs of flooding the election but never mentioned this sight.
Unfortunately although loaded with stuff that RC doesn't impress me with its looks. Neither does the CB750 though, I've seen a whole bunch better than it. I have seen the sandcast original from up close too and that was nice, but a z1 would steal the show for me. The only Honda I liked from that era was a CL450 (looks wise) and for a while I thought the CB750F supersport was nice looking 77-78?
Back to the RC what has by now look boring to us, to the rest of the world it still looks like an exotic bike. My favorite is the one I have, a stock US spec 02 sp2, the 03 scheme comes second, I like the flat black frame and swingarm and the color of the plastic. I would substitute all silver for pearl white if I was to ever redo mine. |
