I called my agent yesterday and asked for a quote on an 04 RC........$2590 a year. I don't get it, last year I was paying $384 full coverage on a 02 954? Anybody know a good agent?

Thanks; that's full coverage, right? I'll call around. Looks like I'm going to go through the same process when I insured my last bike.

I don't know how you guys get it so cheap... YOu must live in the sticks or something. In raleigh, NC, I paid $480 every six MONTHS for my RC51. By contrast, my 600RR is only $240 or so every six...

I wish I could, but I'm penalized by my wife's bad driving record, guess I'm gonna have to divorce her.

well, I am no angel...I have two speeding tickets on my back...well, I think only one now...and the 929 that I claimed because of theft.

State Farm was like "yeah...no biggie...we got you covered!" Gieco said NO, because my new bike was going to be in the same garage that the 929 was taken from. and progressive would take me back, but they would have been charging me like 2500 a year for the bike.

There are alot of threads on insurance but the company that HondaGal recommended in a thread a while back seems to have helped a few people, there is a link to Foremost in this thread . (the link is near the bottom of the page)

It looks like State Farm might be the best one out there right now, but because my wife had a claim about 3 or 4 years ago it will definitely go against me...I'll check with the agent see whats up. Thanks.

Re: Insurance

Progressive charges me $320/yr. for minimum coverage and I also have my car insured with them. For full coverage, including theft, it would have been $5,000. I have one speeding ticket on my record.
