Leave it, looks brilliant. I love it all. If I may, just to suggest you add maybe white (or another contrasting color) to the NISSAN on the caliper to make it "pop" as they say lol

I outlined mine in red, but it takes a steady hand, as you can see I don't have one

That's a great idea, I'm going to get the rear and fronts powder coated. Can they outline the NISSIN or would I have to do it? Going to go with white writing.

I wouldn't recommend you get them powdercoated. For my experience, the coating was a lot thicker than paint, thus making it harder to paint the lettering. Also, it made for finicky fitting of the brake pads, as they bound up once installed and I had a lot of dremelling to do to the coating to get the pads to move more freely. I do love the color and the way mine came out, but I've "been there, done that", so it's time for another approach for me lol

Stick with your orange paint, and get a really fine pointed tip modeling paint brush from a craft store. I bet it will be much easier to trace the NISSAN with just the paint vs. the powdercoat.

Re: 1998 Firestorm/Super Hawk

Thanks Ian, wasn't sure the finish quality did the calliper justice. Will give it a touch of white and see how it looks. Do you think I should give it a couple of coats of lacquer to make the paint more "hardy"?
