i want to put a power commander on my 2000 superhawk will it help to increase power and performance and also is there any way to put a racing front fairing on the super hawk instead of the smaller addition u can get on ebay...references if anyone has any?

The PC will allow the engine to produce a more power and it will also allow for smoother power delivery if you get a map for it. The map in the ECU is for emissions, the PC helps overcome that.

can u also jet the vtwin motor...how much horse will it add to put a pc and new jets (if possible) onto it

It is my understanding that the PC is for fuel injected bikes, and that the superhawk was carb'd in 2000...Correct? If so, find another product. That said, I was reading an article in MC a few years ago, about the add-on bits for sport-bikes...Unless you get a custom map, as in your bike on a dyno/computer set, any fuel management soft/hard ware may not do what you want...From the factory, the article said that bikes were maximized at around 90% of performance with stock parts...So, adding a less-restrictive exhaust will hurt performance, all other things remaining the same...A PC will also hurt performance, according to the article, unless you make the changes to the exhaust to take advantage of the changes...First, identify why you want to change the stock profile...On my 929, I boosted low-end HP and torque by a good 25% at between 20-60% throttle with my custom map, as I wanted faster and smoother off-the-line response to move here in NYC, and never really go 100% on the throttle, and rarely hit 10K RPM even while accellerating briskly.

Uhh, as mentioned before, Power Commander's are for fuel injected bikes. The Superhawk has carbs. If you are having fueling issues because of modifications you might have done (i.e. pipe, filter) you will need to have the carbs rejetted.
