VTR 1000 streetfighter exhaust

VTR 1000 streetfighter exhaust

im trying to strip down all useless parts to give it a cleaner look so i want to go single exhaust i was going to cut just behind the 1st Y pipe were the exhaust splits into two and run the right side pipe through has anyone done this if so did the motor still run right?

I did this on my firestorm and it ran absolutely fine, if not better! i had an underseat pipe on mine though, check my gallery theres a couple of pics of it in there...

cheers bro I'll have to look into the underseat exhaust but the superchickens going single hey did it make the exhaust any louder running it through just 1 can?

Well its 'as loud' as having the two cans, but having both revolutions of the two pistons going through one can gives a slightly different sound as you have both 'beats' through the one can, i personally used to have a grin from ear to ear every time i took it up to the red line!

hey thanks again for the advise it just gets me one step closer to rippin the streets again
