Possibe Exhaust Leak on GL1800

I noticed the other morning as my bike was warming up that the vapor cloud that is typical on cold days was not only coming from the exhaust tips(as it should), but was coming out at the joint just under the passenger floorboard on the port and starboard exhaust. Is this normal or do I have a leak????

I can't find anything in the service manual about this phenomenon and haven't had a chance to contact my LBS about it. Should I be concerned????

I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably a water drain hole that most exhausts have and it's only visible because of the exhaust vapour. Even if it is a slight leak, if everything is in place and tight it won't hurt. Starboard side is also the low side and tends to collect more moisture maybe. Look a little closer to see for sure.

if it bothers you, you could always use some high-temp exhaust sealant. liquid copper. i used this on my D&D exhaust on my previous bike (97 f3 600). worked great and no leaks after that.
