Ignition Noise in GL Sound System

My 2006 GL 1800 is plagued with ignition noise coming through the aux. audio output cable installed in the left fairing pocket. Various trips to my dealer and phone calls to a variety of dealers all indicate that no fix is available from Honda. Customer Service from Honda refuses to allow any communication with Honda tech and the office twit there won't even connect me to a manager in Customer Service. My local dealer in Grapevine TX can correct the problem with an aftermarket fix for about $50.00 but Honda states they won't reimburse me for the costs.

Anyone with similiar experience?

The 'Wings are fabulous but Honda's attitude about this SUCKS!!

Re: Ignition Noise in GL Sound System

You need a ground loop isolator. We have all had to deal with this issue at one level or another. ESPECIALLY when listening to an audio device while charging said audio device. Pretty simple fix, and yes you do have to bite the bullet and pay for it yourself. This is not a fault of mother honda.
