Re: motor rebuild

Was your new motor put back into the bike with no other modifications?
OEM headers and muffler, carbs, cams, pistons, etc?
136hp is _very_ good from a stock 900.
101hp though sounds like your motor was very poor before the build.

Re: motor rebuild

Engine had over 36k on it when he went thru the motor. He refreshed the rotating assembly, the head ported and polished (cost me a little extra) jetted the bike went thru the cabbs (again extra) set all the valve lashing. took the bike to where he worked and we dynoed itand I miss quoted myself it was 129 hp. I have a print out and will post it if I can find a scanner.

All I can say is it feels like a totlly different bike he did an awesome job.

Re: motor rebuild

Sounds like a good motor then :-)
Why did it need rebuilding at only 36K?
Do you have a graph of the 101hp as well?
