Don't be sorry. All the whoring keeps my post at the top, so I can show off the new Blade.
FYI, the bike wasn't supposed to be in the US until Jan 17th. Honda got the initial shipment in a few weeks earily. JUST in time for Christmas! Merry Christmas to me! |

I'm 33 years old. I've been riding since I was about 20. I've had a few different bikes. Started on Cruisers, went naked, then 600 Katana. I figured it was time for a real liter bike.
I'm NOT a squid or a hooligan, however I just might become a POSER on the new Repsol.
I also have a 2003 Nissan 350Z (modified) that I track on occassion. (Not 1/4 mile, I mean the real deal... Road Racing.. On the TRACK of course!) |

| Re: New Member. Just got my Blade... You sound like a welcome addition to the funny farm, RF. Glad to hear that you have quite a few years of cycling under your belt, being as you're buying a 1K ride. I hope Tuesday dawns sunny and (somewhat) warm for ya. Post some more pics of that beautiful beast after you get her home. I am, for one, jealous! |

Nice car, too!! HondaGal has one, but I don't think she'll be taking it on the track. What mods have you done to your Z, and what track(s) have you run it on? |

I live a few miles north of Allentown, PA. I actually WORK in Parsippany, NJ. (Although I much rather ride the twisties on the weekends, I'll still ride the bike out I-78 and I-287 to get to work.)
As for the Z... I have a Nismo spoiler on it. She's dropped an inch with an Eibach spring kit. I also have Hotchkiss adjustable sways, brakes were upgraded to Stoptech slotted rotors and stainless steel lines. I added a CAI, High Flow Cats, and a Borla True Dual exhaust as well. I run her on the North course up at Pocono with friends from different area car clubs.
I'd love to ride with some locals come the spring. Keep in touch. (Do you frequent the Tri-State Sports Bike forums? ) http://www.tristatesportbikes.com/forum/portal.php If you don't, you shold know that the guys really "let it all hang out" on that board. If you don't like the "boys club" mentality, stay away... Although there are a lot of good guys and a lot of info on local rides there. Come check it out! |
