If I wanted to learn how to fix clutches, I would have bought a Yamaha........
Kidding, kidding -
Reminds me, I should see if Ian Rankin has another book out. |

| Re: Hi im new We're in the same boat weatherwise. Michigan is cold, gray, wet, and unattractive this time of year. We get grouchy and argue vehemently about nothing, as opposed to the spring and summer when we can ride AND argue vehemently about nothing. |

| Re: Hi im new Michigan really sounds a bit like scotland then,i cant wait to get my bike out again ,i put into the garage in november and stripped it all down new braided lines front and rear, polished wheels, ixis titanium oval exhaust,k and n filter, tinted screen and headlamp, and a new rear shock, but there was always a whining noise when the bike was ticking over (not loud)and when you rev the bike in neutral there was like a clicking sound coming from the clutch and when you pulled in the clutch and rev the engine the noise stopped,so i have just stripped the clutch out, there is some wear on the basket where the discs sit but nothing to major and the bearings seem to be alright, who knows im currently looking for a new clutch basket just incase
