| Newbius Maximus Hello, Hello from the heart of the hill country in Texas.
Yeah, we've got some awesome twisties here.
I've been lurking hear a bit and now I'm posting.
I've been riding for a while and discovered track days a couple of years ago.
In my younger days I put in many scores of thousands of miles on bicycles and now I twist the wrist instead of turning the crank.
Some of you here may know me from Speedzilla and Rogue.
My bikes:
01 929 basically stock. Previous owner added a D&D CF can and I've added an Ohlins rear. Scotts damper to be added soon. This is my street bike but I want to put it on the track again.
00 RC51 that is totally tricked out and currently wearing sharkskins for the track.
99 R1 that is track only with a sprint motor that hauls mail. Unfortunately I am still looking for a few more parts to put her back together since a nasty spill last year at TWS |

I have an RCBS Rock Chucker on the bench, and wondered if that was what the name came from... Great Press!

| Re: Newbius Maximus Welcome aboard. I am jealous of the roads you have over there. I have only been able to take my bike to the hill country a couple times, and I had a blast both times. When is the next track day at TWS you are going to? |

I am already signed up for Cresson on the 4th.
I had a blast on 337 yesterday. Unfortunately, on the way back, I encountered some extreme turtle traffic at the best set of turns as I came back over the hill. This road is also in the process of being updated in a number of places which has left quite a bit of construction dust in its wake. |

Chris | This happens to be my screen name on other forums that are more RC51 related.
On one of those forums, the expression "Rock Chucker" is directly underneath my screen name on all of my posts.
I kinda figured that you already knew who the **** I was from that forum.
That is why I replied with........."The one and only"
On those boards, most of the others probably think that my screen name boils down to RC bullshit, (which yes, that also applies big time) you are only the second person in a couple of years to figure out my alterior motive for using this as my screen name.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!
sssshhhhhhhhh

Chris | I see that you're already sniffing around the RC boards for a deal on another one. Did I just blow your cover? |

I'm TB on ROGUE, though haven't been there much since I sold my RC to Niner, who promptly got it stolen (always have to add that).
