| NEW MEMBER Hey everyone, Just found the website. Not bad at all ( we are a little slow in Darwin Australia). Anyway my name is Mick and I ride an 02 954 fireblade and love it. We have unlimited speed limits here so I am keen to see what she's got. When I work it out I will post a pic it. The Blade is still stock, but I am looking for improvements. Anything thats cheap at the moment to gain more horses or make it run more efficient. I do have a question for anyone interested in giving advice. I have noticed in the higher temperatures above 85 degrees celsius the motor seems quiet noisy. I asked the local dealer and they said its normal for the fireblades to be a bit ticky. Is this true? The oil i am using is MOTUL 5100. Which is suited apparently to the conditions in darwin. Any info will be much appreciated.
Cheers

| Re: NEW MEMBER Welcome. The 954 is quite mechanically noisey, I don't mind it myself.

BTW Jay nine if you want to do anything with pics you need to become a supporting member which involves propping up the US economy to the tune of USD$20 |
