| new guy from UK Hi there, I have just joined the site. I purchased a new cbr1000rr 05 this morning in all black (UK bike), and thought I would like to read about any issues from experienced owners. I hope I can contribute to a few discussions. I have a ZX6R (A1P - 02) and a Skyteam ST90 monkey bike. I crashed my ZX6R last summer 1 mile from the shop where I was picking up a new cbr1000rr 04. Had to cancel it. I will sell it as soon as it is completely fixed. I done well over the winter from ebay.co.uk. Excellent for any crashers not wanting to pay inflated oe replacement parts prices. Patience is required, but all things will show up eventually.
By for now. topbanana99

| Re: new guy from UK Welcome,
I find the biggest problem with the 1000rr is that it builds speed so quickly and deceptively that I find myself coming in to cloverleafs too hot and crashing. Don't buy shogun no-cut sliders, they tend to do more damage than good when the brackets bend and puncture an aluminum water joint and you have to pull the fn motor to replace it. Bite the bullet and cut holes in your fairings. |
