Hello all, About time I introduced myself... I bought a track prepped (ex.Kyle Racing) CBR954RR a few weeks ago and immediately took it to a Keigwins Novice School event at Thunderhill California, it is an awesome machine and it was nice to ride an actual Sportsbike on the track. My street ride is a Kawi Z1000 and the difference on the track betweem the two was stupendous. Needless to say the Z1000 shouldn't be seen on the track again (unless maybe I do Laguna Seca with its dB limit as the Sato pipe on the 954 are quite loud).
Its a very useful site you have here. Following advice on one of the pages I switched from the 190 on the rear to a 180 GPA and the Bike handled superbly (albeit I hadn't ridden it before!). The thought of riding a 'real' bike at the track had given me sleepless nights in the days before, but the manners of the bike are exceptional, they must be as even I 'skimmed' knee here and there .....
Cheers
