There are a few people with no cut frame sliders, but if you go down at any speed they will likely bend and cause damage underneath. I think phobiaphobe had this problem.
Swingarm sliders are a piece of cake, they just thread into your threads on the swingarm(be sure to use some blue loctite).
Bar end sliders are a piece of cake too, just remove the old and put the new ones on.
Do a search on all this stuff as well, there are TONS of topics about it. |

| Re: new member says hello from socal Welcome! Do a search on CBR 1000 plastics, or frames sliders, or crash bungs to get some input with your problem. The SEARCH function is on the Fireblades tool-bar.
Good Luck! |

one involves cutting the plastics while the other doesn't
hope to make the right decision soon |

| Re: new member says hello from socal Don't use the shogun no-cuts. If you go down on the left side you can look forward to dropping your motor to replace the busted water joint (don't ask how I know). The only no-cuts that I can endorse are the Lightechs or something of a similar design that are braced against the frame. (though they won't save your lower plastics, only way to do that is with cut sliders on the lower motor mounts.) I've got Intuitive bar-end sliders but beware: your bars will buzz like a 20 dollar Chinese dildo... the stock bar ends are weighted to quell the vibes... slider ends are not.
