I ride the carts at work all the time. They're kinda hard to ride cause once you pick up a little speed it just wheelies even with all my weight forward. The pallette jacks are fun to ride though. See I can still ride in the winter.

You are in easy striking distance to SE Ohio, northern WV, and SW PA, some great riding there, and usually a little warmer in the spring and fall. I'm sure you can squeeze out more than 2 months, but it does feel like that sometimes doesn't it

And welcome from those of us even further north. Definitely try for Grattan, it is a great time with great people
