| Big Hello from O H I O Hello. My name is E and I am a 954rr addict. The last time I rode was two weeks ago........ I have been riding now for three seasons and heading into the fourth. Started on an 02' F4i, and after 8000 miles had purchased the 03' 954rr (yes it was a hasty move in retrospect but a looming divorce forced my hand early). Now my 954rr is knocking on 30K miles going into its fourth year, and I can see this site as a very useful tool. So hopefully we can share info and help one another out. I have been having some issues again so look for my thread in the bike specific section.
FYI- I think this forum rocks. I have used it in the past to solve a clutch problem I was having. I used the reccomended set up: stiffer Barnettt springs, OEM fiber, and OEM steel plates. I had been using the Barnett plates and twice ended up with "chunked up" clutch baskets. Yes I even used the judder spring. |

| Re: Big Hello from O H I O Thanks all. I guess now you know why I have not posted up prior to this. Its hard not to share ALL the information about what I do to and with my bike. I am glad that you have changed the policy, THANK YOU. I can personally assure you that I keep it to the "spot" and profess SAFTEY as number 1.
In spite of that I am still very interested in all facets of motorcycling. Racing, dragging, stunting, and wrenching. Although my primary emphisis has been stuntung and secondary to that is wrenching due to the obvious.
So thanks again and hello. |

| Re: Big Hello from O H I O Thanks Everyone!
The weather here is getting better. I was able to get the bike running and managed to put 70 miles on her. Unfortunately I had to chase the dry pavement to Canton but when you get 60 degree weather in March you dont let a little rain stop you. We always get a few more snowflakes at the tail end if March so I am riding irregardless of the wet conditions. In fact I am waiting for the roads to dry up so I can hit the streets at this very momment. We are supposed to be back into the mid thirtees by next week. I was supposed to be in Daytona this week so I am very THANKFULL for this string of 60 degree weather, even if it is a "moist" heat spell.
I had lived in Ann Arbor back in 94'. I wish I was riding back then, I remember there were some sweet twisties along the river just west of the city. Not to mention the Detroit "Speedway" (1-94). May have to make a road trip up there this year. plus I need an excuse to hit Zingermans Deli.
I live on the West side of Akron so I am out tearing up the back country roads of Wadsworth on a regular basis. |

| Re: Big Hello from O H I O I just got a call from STATE 8 MOTORCYCLES! They are one of the largest dealerships here in NE Ohio and I will be working there as a salesman Monday. Very happy! They are a Authorized Yammaha/Suzuki/Kaw/Honda (plus a few others Aprilia, Victory) dealer.
So ....................
Self Promo Time(sorry - what can I say I am a salesman)
If you are in the area and looking for a new/used bike come ask for me, Eric B. . 330-929-8123 STATE 8 MOTORCYCLES ( I start 3/13/06).
Now maybe I can squeeze the service manager into a free compression test LOL. I will keep you posted on the motor condition once it is known.

I had issues with the service department over a warranty issue a few years ago. Since then they have hired some good people and currently are under construction to expand their showroom into the adjacent building (use to be the Boot Scootn Saloon). In all fariness to them they had just aquired the Honda dealership and did not have an established realitionship with the Honda Rep. I think the techs were still getting familiar with idiosynchrocies between manufaturers as well. They did eventually regain my confidence. Well I am there now, and I am a 100% no bullshit - straight forward kinda guy so hopefully youll give then a second chance again. I guess I am definitey biased in my opinion LOL! |

| Re: Big Hello from O H I O I also forgot to mention they had built and opened another dealership in Medina at I-71 and Rt 18. Its a new Polaris and Victory dealership, they also sell used bikes there as well. I think its only been open for less than a month or so. So they are are doing something right apparently. Time will tell. |
