Hi all!
Hi all,

Great site, so i thought i would join.
I have just brought my 03 954, traded in a 06 Kwaka 636 for it....

The bike shop thought i was nuts but i wanted to go back to a good old reliable Honda.

I need to get a new chain for it, any suggestions?

Yeah it did,

It had great power for a 600, good brakes, great handling etc...

But it started to develop a really bad engine vibration at about 3000-5000 rpm (it only had 2000km by this stage). They dealer told me they would look at it and repair it if they found something wrong. I wasn't happy with that, it was a new bike!
I did well over 10000km on my old F4i and never had a single problem. So i swapped it for a 954 with 4000km and i haven't looked back.

Okay, here is one chance. RUN! Dude, just don't look back. Head for Ayer's Rock and just camp there.



I did the DID 520 conversion. Be sure to swap out your sprockets as well. Sure there are good places down under but here is who I do business with..

Agreed, good choice on dumping the Kawasukme. Welcome. Newer to the site as well. Lots of good info on here.

Narrower chain, less mass, you can also use this time to change your sprocket ratios. Think I went with a 44 in the rear and +1 up front. Can't remember.
