| New cbr owner & new rider Hi I have 01 929rr and it's my first bike so you can expect a lot of stupid questions. But so far riding has been lots of fun I'm sure we'll talk more! |

| Re: New cbr owner & new rider I can't keep up with Red Rider.
I liked my 929 - I say get a Scott's damper if you don't have one.
But, I'm a tire-skid, so it doesn't mean much. |

| Re: New cbr owner & new rider Get some good protective gear and be careful that is a fast ride for the first bike. Also I recommend an MSF course.
EDIT: Ooops and Welcome

| Re: New cbr owner & new rider I second what sheep said. and be careful, that beast can be a handful for a beginner (and someone with experience sometimes)

No such thing as a stupid question. Use the search function before you post up or be eaten alive.
Ask away. A lot of nice people here. |

| Re: New cbr owner & new rider Welcome! Not the best choice of bike for a new rider, but what's done is done. Take the MSF course if you haven't already. Start with the beginner course. Respect the throttle. |

| Re: New cbr owner & new rider Everyone has told me thats not a good bike to start with but a 600 would not really work because of my size. I'm 6'4' and 300lbs or so and I'm 27 and in no hurry to break a land speed record or be the next evil-kenvil. And my MSF course starts this month so I guess we'll se how I do Thanks |
