Hi, just joined I have a 929 rr-y 01 blade, great bike - just logged on to look at 1/4 mile times, last year I went to Santa Pod on a "run what you brung" day for the 2nd run I managed a 10.6 sec and trap speed of 132.4 mph. Looking at some of the other times can any one tell me how to get into the 9's - my bike is totally standard, I am thinking of a Micron or Akrapovic end can with power commander, and also a K&N air filter.

Cheers

Re: New member

Welcome

You may want to ditch the K&N if you are looking for the most power on a budget. An "end can" won't make much (if any) difference other than SPL. A decent full system, Power Commander, OEM air filter, U4 fuel and a good dyno job at 12.7 to 1 could net you 15 to 18 HP.
