Clip-on's for Street Riding

I have a 97' 900RR and the right handle bar needs to be replaced.
Honda wants an arm and a leg for it, so I am looking into using clip-on's.
So far, I really only use if for street riding and have all the original plastics on it.

Does anyone know of any clip-on's that will work with a stock set up?

Your right "handlebar" is actually a clipon. A clipon is the term for a handlebar section that bolts to one fork only. There are a variety of aftermarket companies making clipons that will work, mainly just depending on the size of your fork tubes.

Any idea how much of a down angle the new clip-on's can have with out hitting the stock fairings to early.
I don't want to make slow street riding and turning around to difficult, but at the same time, I would like a slightly greater angle with the new clip-on's for hitting the twisties on the weekends.

With many a/m clipons, you can adjust the angle. I don't know the max angle for your bike, but you should be able to adjust to preference.
