NEW GUY

I JUST FOUND ABOUT THIS SITE AND IT IS GREAT. I RIDE A 1994 HONDA CBR 900RR AND I AM CURRENTLY STATIONED FT CAMPBELL, KY (PRESENTLY IN IRAQ). I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS SITE REALLY BECAUSE I WANTED ADVICE ON WHEN I SHOULD FORK SPRINGS AND REAR SHOCK . I JUST BROKE 20,000 MILES. I ALSO WANTED ADVICE ON WHAT IS THE BEST GEARING TO MOVE FROM STOCK WHICH IS 16/43 . I AM DEBATING BETWEEN ON 15/43 OR 15/45. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

www.thermosman.com is not too far from you and a good resource for suspension work.

Sent the PM before I stumbled across this post. Here's a public .

Spring/fork changes depend on weight as noted before and your riding style and preferences will dictate what sprocket changes you will be happy with. I went -1/+2 on my 1KRR and it kicks a$$ now.
