| hiiiii every body The names kyle. Found this site while trying to find some frame sliders for a 2006 honda cbr f4i 600 i bought a couple days ago. Never ridden before except a couple runs on a dirt bike. My buddy, long time rider, said he loved his bike (2005 model) so i decided i'd get the 2006. I Still need to find those frame sliders, before i have my own horror story about laying down my bike. any Info would be appreciated. |

| Re: hiiiii every body well I picked up my bike today put 200 miles on it and really had to forcce myself to turn it off and lock it up for the night. Im like a kid on christmas all i want to do is wake up and get right back on it. I REALLY wish i had gotten one sooner. Went with frame sliders from woodcrafts website also. should be arriving any day now. |

| Re: hiiiii every body OK here is your info:
Get a good full face helmet, never start the bike without it
Get good over the cuff gloves, never start the bike without them
Ride in boots
Get a good jacket (leather is best)
Riding pants are a plus
Ride like everyone is out to kill you (so that they won't)
Take a MSF course
Sounds like a paranoid old dude right? But I did make it to old with what some will say not quite right brain Be careful and enjoy.

Sure, $350 seems like a lot of cash for a jacket, but weigh that with the cost of hospital bills and it really makes sense... |

| Re: hiiiii every body Enjoy your bike and like others have already said, wear your gear! I'm in the same boat as you with borrowed gear, keep borrowing until you get your own. Like your name, Murphy's Law will arrive when you ride without a jacket, guaranteed!
Have a great time! Oh, and the christmas feeling never goes away! |
