N00b here

Hi everyone..

I bought a 00 929 a week ago, after selling a 01 VFR800 I've been riding for 4 years. I'm from Stockholm Sweden but spend alot of time in California where I work as a freelancer in computer animation. I have plans in a more permanent move to Vancouver BC where there's plenty of work.. I ride mostly on the street but I have a feeling I'll need some track days for this bike, it's just awsome compared to the viffer..

Anyways I'm glad I found this site, after searching the forums a little (I'm fixing a broken clutch) it seems there's a lot of know-how here that I'm hoping to explore

Cheers

Welcome to Fireblades! Lots of VFR converts her. Be careful on your new bike...it's not as forgiving.

Re: N00b here

Thanks everyone!

I know it's not as forgiving, already noticed that! A car cut me off and I hit the brakes.. a little too much rear and the back tire immidiatly locked up. The brakes are way better, have to practice some emergency stopping and learn the new lockup points.. The VFR makes you think you're better at braking than you really are.

Wilkommen is close enough . I find more doobie-duudes in Amsterdam these days, California isn't what it used to be
