Hook's Intro.
(wish I had music for this) Hello. I'm Hook. I ride an '83 Yamaha Venture. Four years ago, I bought two Ventures, both were in accidents. I then combined the both of them, fixed the plastic (mostly) and repainted it. http://www.laconiabikeweek.net/pics/...83-Venture.jpg Since then, I've put about 30k miles on it. In case you couldn't tell, I like to ride. Almost as much as (I almost forgot it's a family oriented site). Anyway, I was speaking with Firefly last night and she recomended that I check this forum out. Thank you Firefly. (We won't get into opportunity costs right now). My other bike is an '89 Virago 1100 http://www.laconiabikeweek.net/pics/.../89-Virago.jpg. My daughter mostly rides that one, when she can't ride her husband's F4. I like to Virago for short errands in town, although I haven't been able to get 50 bucks worth of groceries in the saddle bags...yet. Well, feel free to e-mail or what ever.

Never did it. He never gave me permision. I sat on it once. Small and uncomfortable after riding a touring bike. I do have a dream of one day owning a sport touring bike. I've been looking at the BMW K 1200 GT. Of course, if your gonna dream, dream big. But that's a long way off. Other priorities. I'm just glad that I can be on two wheels and ride with good friends.
