| San Luis Obispo, CA Hi, Robert here. AKA corndog67. Just bought a 96 900RR, 7000 miles, cherry condition. Erion Pipe and K & N jet kit. Runs very well.
45 years old. 35 years riding. Married, 2 kids. I'm on about bike # 35, more or less, probably about 300,000 to 350,000 miles. Still ride street and dirt. Currently have a 96 CBR900RR, a YZ250, and an old KTM 500MX that still runs like a son of a b_tch. And its for sale, cheap, if anyone is interested. Rode short track and TT's for a time. Some Hare Scrambles, and an Enduro or two. It's been a long time. I actually considered going to assault the old guy classes on the old KTM. I have a set of 19" wheels that I can stick on it. It's hard to beat a 500cc 2stroke to the first turn of a short track. We'll just call it a mid-life crisis.
Aerospace/Aircraft machinist. Previous bikes include, but not limited to;
SV650
Bandit 1200S
CBR1000F
Various Gs Suzuki's, 500E, 1000E,1100E, probably more,
My brother ZRX 1200, but I put a bunch of miles on it.
K100
CB900F, 2 of them
A mess of dirt bikes.
A 360 Bultaco Astro that I never finished a race on. Due more to my lack of mechanical prowess at that time (a long time ago), than any shortcomings of that bike.
Some Kawasaki Triples.
Many, many, more. |

I usually only go to 58 when I am taking the dirt bike to Pozo. But every now and then I get out that way. |

Mojave, this place is paradise. I just wish I could buy a house here. Average price of a house is $605,000. AVERAGE.
Did you buy your bike from San Luis Motorsports?

Felt that pain, living in Buellton, Santa Barbara. Exactly why I am back in the desert. Not to mention being closer to a track. |
