| New Member No, unfortunately I don't have a Fireblade at least yet. I do have motorcycles though. The fever is strong enough though to read and learn about what I want or don't want want. Been riding nonstop, since 1968. |

'68? Are you an old fart, or did you start young? Well, even if you were 3 when you started riding, that'd still make you an old fart (like me) around here. |

It's like a fine wine, it gets better with age right?
BTW..... I'll be 40 next year so I'm trying to tell myself that I won't be an old fart |

These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
David Hoffman
He works in my dad's store
He's worked here for 12 years
He'll probably work here for more
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
Dave Gort
I've known since I was six
In grade eight he broke his leg
So we got drunk and sick
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
Some of them are Davids
[Dave Gort: But most of us are Daves]
They all have their own hands
But they come from different moms
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
Dave Jadiski
Man, this cat can swing
He weighs almost 50 pounds
And he delivers my paper on time
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
Dave Capisano
I hardly know him
...
[Bruce stands around, looking vaguely uncomfortable for the rest of the measure]
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
These are the Daves I know, I know
These are the Daves I know
[Next two measures sung by the Daves Bruce knows: ] We are the Daves he knows, he knows
We are the Daves he knows
We are the Daves he knows, he knows
We are the Daves he knows
Some of us them are Davids
But most of us are Daves
We all have our own hands
But we come from different moms These are the Daves I know, I know
[Daves: We are the Daves he knows, he knows]
[All: These are the Daves] |

| Re: New Member Well, I can seriously and very honestly say, that I do and CAN do anything that I did when I was 1/2 this age. Age is a state of mind, which of course can affect your body (or the other way around), but I like toys. I love to play and play hard!(wish there was more time to play!) I gave up dirtbikes and riding enduros(XR350R) last year because of land closures, not from desire! If you quit playing...........I don't want to think what comes after that! I truly though do feel sorry for those that think over 40 (or 50 and even 60) is old. It can be old, if you want it to be. Hmmmm time to take the old 750 K3 out for an eveing ride, there is this road not far from here that has a few turns and ............... |

| Re: New Member Yes, I just got back. As I was grabbing my helmet the ph. rang and a friend said there were bikes all over, in a town about 12 mi. away. So I rode over in a hurry, to see what was going on. I met some folks that I hadn't seen since the first 900 Kaw came out. I ended up riding around 50 mi. tonight. No, that is not allot of miles, but it was great to be out. The cool evening felt good with leathers and helmet. |
