NooB, to this forum

I have been on another board for awhile now. But I have expanded my horizons to include a CBR600RR, so now I need a larger range of suggestions, advice, ideas, etc. Found a lot of great stuff here, so I signed up and have already had good response from long timers.

hope I can help out a bit as well.

Welcome to you, Ben.

Did you just decide to buy the FS track bike, or was it like a "you break it, you bought it" kind of deal?

Just loved the feel of the bike. My mom had done FS course 5 times and I finally had my turn. She actually bought the bike I rode and I ended up with one my stepbrother rode.

No "you break it", THANK GOD

With "bike incest" like that, you'll fit right in here.

We're all about family. Disfunctional, but it's still family.

Thanks. It was my first ever street bike. I lucked into it when I was 16, some woman was going thru a divorce, don't know how she got it, but I got a good quick deal. It has been out of my possession for the last 5 years, its been sitting in Taos, in my stepdads storage unit. I got it back this last year, and have been getting her going again. A few parts left and she will be going in my house as decoration, as soon as I get a house.

Well, don't judge a book by its cover. It does need some lovin'. I have started a list and through bikebandit/crotchrocket.com I can get her back to confident rideability for approx $200.00, + tires. I am just waiting till winter, to do the work. Its a bit hot in my 7500 SF garage right now. Im not bragging, its my office too.

I can't wait to ride it again, and maybe feel 16 again.
