Hello From Downunder

Just like to say howzit to all, been riding Honda's all my riding life (20years). Just sold my 99 900 Blade, picked up my 06 1K Blade two weeks ago 300km on the clocks , parked up at shopping centre came out only to see my pride and joy hade been knock off the stand .

So now back in the shop on hold waiting for parts etc etc $3.8K AUD damage. Anyway the short time I spent on her was great as always the Honda engineers have cracked it again.

Re: Hello From Downunder

Same thing happened to me years ago with a brand new GSXR1100K. Couldn't believe dum luck. Lesson learnt leave bike in gear and switch off via side stand. Deceptive gradiants can and usually do catch you out.

Thanks for your reply, colour is silver / black, I normally stick to Honda Red but not too happy with new red colour scheme, silver has a very stealthy look.

Re: Hello From Downunder

Welcome to the site.

Had that happen twice with new bikes and both times due to a car reversing into it. Fortunately caught both drivers (one owned up the other dragged the bike 100m down the road on her towball).

What sucks the most is not having it for a while. At least you will appreciate it when you get it back.
