| Another Aussie Hi there,
Just saying hello, about to become a big bike owner after 2 years on a baby blade. Can't wait
So I thought I would become a member as a 'premeptive strike' |

Welcome - My daughter spent a term at UWA, she liked it except for the total lack of Mexican food.. |

| Re: Another Aussie Yep, the sun has arrived over here too. Riding weather is back and it looks like it's gonna be a great riding season for me :-))
Would prefer some of those twisty east coast roads though, but hey, you can't have everything |

| Re: Another Aussie Thanks everyone,
I've had a look through and this site is quiet interesting. It is good to get a different point of view to motorcycle riding than the oz view I get on local boards.
Just talked to someone who had a look at the baby blade (250) and they said they want to buy it so it looks like I need to buy the bike big sooner than later.
OMG, I have no bike now .
I haven't really thought this through have i.......
I thought it would take ages to sell the 250 but it took me less than 3 days....
I'm having withdrawl symptons already....
Ahhh.... If anyone in perth wants to sell their fireblade, r1, gixxer etc then give me a call (sob sob)

TS | G'day Thinno
You'll find some good info here if its a big blade you're after...
What sort of riding do you do? Just street? Bit of touring? Tracks? (I think theres just Barbagello sand pit for you over there )
Best thing to do is get to the bike shops and test ride every second hand bike they've got, see which one suits ya best.
Cheers

| Re: Another Aussie Hey AB-Oz,
I do road riding mostly. I commute to uni daily and do rides on weekends to the country. I want to go to the track though once I get the bigger bike.
Thanks for you tip. As soon as my exams are over I'm off to the dealers to start test riding. Whats the ettique with testing them? I mean, a short ride won't tell you much about the bike. Can you take them for a decent ride, say 20 minutes?
