Hi gang, first time user so bear with me,been ridin harleys for 25 years and just bought a 2002 Sabre (1100) so a whole new outlook. I like the newbie but not the note, any recommendations for new systems etc (money is a factor) can I build and fit a set of stainless drag pipes to it? and wot probs can I expect with backpressures etc.. Look forward to meeting you on the net..

Chukks, I'd go with an aftermarket set of pipes unless you know what you're doing with exhaust design. IIRC, the 02 VT1100 is carb'd, correct? You'd have a lot of tinkering involved with the jetting by making your own set. Vance&Hines makes some really nice pipes for the Sabre. Bub and Hard Krome also have some nice looking and sounding pipes. Stay away from Cobra...their chrome is crap.
