Hello from Nashville
I have been lurking for awhile and finally decided I should post an intro. I'm a new rider with less than 20 miles on a street bike and thought a 1000RR would be an excellent first bike. Ok, not really. I'm 40 years old and have had a motorcycle since I was 3.5 years old. Did some motocross racing for about 16 years. I have had several street bikes and had a 2004 VFR prior to the RR. I put about 15,000 miles on the Viffer and really enjoyed it. It was a great bike to take trips on because of the hard bags. I guess I got bored and wanted more power so I bought the RR. I wanted it in titanium and had to look around for a month or so before finding it.

This forum has a lot of info and a great cast of characters. I figured since I was a character it would be a good fit.
