Not really that close in KC, but I do make it to Hallett a few times a year. If you ever get a chance to ride the track there I highly recomend it. Their "Motorcycle Lapping Days" are pretty inexpensive compared to other organizations.

thanks for the welcome everyone.
-the weather is not bad. its supposed to get up to 58 degrees today, but i hear there is a chance of snow this weekend. Thats OK weather for ya.
-i expect to make some track days at hallett this coming season. i have been on the hunt for a track bike, but i will at least take my street bike. I have been to Hallett only once as a spectator, and i was instantly drawn to the sport.
