| Hello - My First Honda Hey Guys,
Well after being a Yamaha Fan Boi (owning a 03 R6 and also a 02 R1) i have jumped ship and onto a Honda CBR954rr. Ive had it for about 2 weeks so ill let you know how it all goes... just curious but is it just my bike that gets bloody hot?
Also another quick question, does anybody know where i can get the CBR decal thats on the ducktail?

One of the places you can find OE decals is on ronayers.com
I am sure there are other places to find decals (I cant think of any right now)
Nice bike by the way

| Re: Hello - My First Honda hi Steve,
Yeah the owner had it advertised elsewhere so i ended up going to go have a look and buying it. Do you have a surge at around 3000rpm which is pretty much bang on 60km/ph - feels like its chugging away? |

| Re: Hello - My First Honda imajo if you are in top mine also chuggs but i think this is because 60kph is too slow for top gear so i tend to be only in fourth or maybee fifth gear when doing 60kph. my bike sits @ 4000rpm when doing 100kph and i am pretty sure that the gearing on mine is standard. |

| Re: Hello - My First Honda yeah thats what i think as well - 60k's im usually in 3rd gear but thats the only speed i find that its doing this. Its right where the power comes on and off. |

| Re: Hello - My First Honda well been a bit lazy lately but usually just through the mountains Dandenong - Spurs - Korrumburra - Havnt had a chance to hit the island yet with this one. How about yourself?
I ride the bike to work everyday so thats why i bought the 954 a little more comfy than riding the newer sports bike. |

| Re: Hello - My First Honda yeah its about $400 isnt it? i was thinking about doing that as well but going on holiday and every $ counts.
Probably wait till I get back and see how things are. Yeah the spurs are great but unfortunately when theres a great road everyones there.
Im not into going super quick, knees dragging and alot of idiots think its a race track, so gets pretty crazy sometimes. If you do go there try going during the week because its nice and quite. |
