V65 FAN????

V65 FAN????

I was soooo happy to just get my 84 all polished n ready to ride.All of a sudden the fan just quit.Havent even recieved my manual in the mail yet.ANY IDEAS would help.Already checked fuses n such but dont know where the fan relay is Yes this is an 1100 Magna

the thermostatic switch is located on the lower left hand side of the radiator.
disconnect the wires from the back of the switch.put a jumper wire between the black and green wires.start the engine and let it idle...when it reaches 191-197 deg. the fan should kick on...if so...the switch is bad. If you can get your money back for the manual you ordered you can have the 2 I have for the cost of shipping...one is the clymer manual and the other is the official honda shop manual...about 70 dollars i think. I

traded my magna in on the cbr so i have no use for them anymore...they are yours if you want them
