thanks, it's technically my first bike. i spent the summer on a 900rr a few years ago. i've been a car nut for the past 7 years and finally decided i would get a bike. I've also raced quads. something else for me to get hurt on i guess

If you spent a summer on a 900, you should be ok. It's good you have off-road experience too - that always helps. Just be careful - a 954RR is not a 900. Close - but not close...know what I mean?

Get GOOD gear and wear it all the time - not just part of the time. People wreck just going to their local gas station... If you ever need help - we're all here!
