| Re: Hey! yes I live near tampa, but traffic can be a problem. I sometimes ride at wierd hours just to get some ride time in when there is nobody on the road. The police know my bike now and give me the approving wave when they see me, always about the same time in the same places just different days of the week.I take some opne country back roads sometimes to get to work and home, luckily at 8am to about 9am they are fairly open, and then again coming home at 8pm or 9pm...It is the bumper to bumper to stoplight that pisses me off, it can be 15 or 20 minutes of only idle or shifting to second gear only before going back to 1st gear...I have been riding in the 50 degree F, weather all last week at night and loved it, the bike just sang at 180 or even 175 F, loved it plenty of crisp power on tap no hesitation at any point |

Yes it was stolen. They did recover it, they caught the guy that stole it, but i dont know what ever happened to him. I actually just got picts from the insurance company friday or saturday of the bike when they found it. They are going to sell it at one of their auctions to try to regain some of their losses. it actually did not look that bad, but when you file a stolen claim on a bike, it gets a total loss title if its not found in a certain time. i might buy it back but i dont know. i have to wait until the final bid goes in on it and they will call me and give me the final say if i want to beat the bid or let it go on down the road.
whats on your mind? |
