Hi all, i'm new here, i just signed up, because i'm lookin into buying an 02 954rr. i currently have a 01 buell, and i'm outgrowing it, its great for shows, but its not great for go! i'm tried of being at the back of the pack, so thats why i'm here. There is a guy i'm talkin to that selling his 02 954rr with henkel exhaust, and fuel managment, he hasn't said how much he wants, so i thought i'd ask others here, it has 15k on it, it more than i want to have on a bike, but i just want one i can pay off right away after i sell mine. Thanks for all of the input, and hope to hear from all, or most of you at some point if i get the bike!

Welcome to the org....

I dont know anything about Buell's.... but as far as most other motorcycles go.... a bigger and faster bike will not gaurantee you of keeping up with the pack.

Dont mistake any bike for a bike that will keep up with the next. Its all about rider input and skill level. Unless you are just talking about going in a straight line. Then you will want to look to one of the newer fourx, but the 954 is a fun bike for me so far.

you can buy what you like but if you haven got the skilss you wont be in front(example) i go to the track reguarally and i can say i am not that bad i do ride in the a class.There is a youngster on a 125cc and yes on a 125cc which we cant stay up with now you can smile,laugh or joke about it but i dare anyone to come take this youngster on my money will be on him.So to proofe my point no matter what you ride get the skills first before you want to grow up.
