hello from down under

Just found this site and can't believe the stuff on here.only have one question today need to find a good gear ratio for a track day comming up soon this is a very tight track with the main straight only 600 mtrs,Is it best to change front or rear sprockets.I have been told 1 down on the front is equal to 4-5 on the rear,"sorry that was more the one question."

Re: hello from down under

have been there a few times and it just gets better every time it is not as fast as the island so you really do not need to crank your dampner up too much, it is great 4 first timers with little or no cafe racers.Give it a go you will love it,even stock road tyres are fine on this track but be prepareed 4 a new set when you finish as they tend to turn too mush after a day at the track.

Re: hello from down under

Just do the front sprocket. Go smaller, if you want better acceleration and drive. If you are on a track where you need high speed, increase the size by a tooth or two.
