| Re: New here, just got an Erion Just noticed your "old" bike was a 600RR?
How does it compare to the 929RR? Or have not even had a chance to ride the 929? Still pretty cold here also. |

Ive got a couple hundred miles on the 929. The powerband is so much better and useable than the 600rr. The 600rr basically had an on/off switch at 8k rpms and i really didnt care for it on the street. (twisties were GREAT though). The 929 is just so much more enjoyable you can actually move through/with traffic without revving the piss out of it and making a lot of noise. The torque is great.
I cant really speak to the handling because it hasnt really been warm enough to ride hard and theres still dirt/sand on some of the roads. The 929 does feel heavier Im sure itll take me some getting used to. |

| Re: New here, just got an Erion I've got the Erion as well and LOVE it. Now if this damn Indiana weather would only get better I'd be a much happier person. Near 80 yesterday, today highs in the 30's! What the fu-hell is THAT about? |

| Re: New here, just got an Erion Excellent, that was the response I was hoping for.
I am aware the 929 is much larger than the 600RR, but that suits me just fine, I am not a small rider.
The more I ride the 929RR, the more I like it, absolutely awesome. For once, I am not lusting after another bike.
Thanks. Quote:

| Re: New here, just got an Erion OH yeah, and welcome. Bike looks nice but I think I like the front of the 600 better (I like the two headlights instead of just one look) |
