| CBR 954 code 32 Hey Guys,
I wonder if someone might be able to help me out. I was riding my bike last night, and the FI light came on. I counted the blinks and it was a code 32. This morning I tried to turn on the bike, and it won't start. WHen I put in the key, and turn it to on, usually the front light and all the lights in the gauge would turn on before I would actually start it. Now, the only lights that come on are the directional lights on the cluster gauge.
Please Help............ |

| Re: CBR 954 code 32 I just realized that. I tried to turn on the bike again, and all it did was do a hard clicking sound.
Thank you in advance. |

| Re: CBR 954 code 32 Thanks for the welcome. The sound was coming from the Starter Relay Switch.
I think I found out what it was.
I bought a no name battery off Ebay this past December, the battery has the proper charge, but for some reason it wouldn't start up my back this past weekend.
I saw some other person had a similar problem in here, so I tried to jump start it and it worked.
Does anyone have any idea, why a battery that has the proper charge, that being over 14V, wouldn't be able to turn on my bike? Should I have just bought a battery from Honda? I took off the HID conversion kit, but it still wouldn't turn on with the no name battery, only after being jump started. Do you think the HID lights were sucking up too much power?
Thanks, |

| Re: CBR 954 code 32 Buy a new, quality battery (Yuasa) and make sure to charge it before installing. Some batteries, even those bought at a dealerships, can be worthless for holding a full charge.

| Re: CBR 954 code 32 Thanks, I'll do that. My wife will be picking me one up this morning, so by the time I get home, I'll be able to put it in.
Do you think the HID kits are bad for the battery? |

| Re: CBR 954 code 32 We get HID's in the UK and up until 2005 the authorities thought we were capable enough of judging when to switch our lights on and off. European law has now dictated us as being insufficiently capable of having judgement. In the end it always comes down to the lowest common denominator. |
