NEWBIE SAYING HI

just give you a lowdown on me..im 27 run my own bodyshop and my big passions are my BMW E46 M3, and my new FIREBLADE. this is only my 2nd bike as i have only been riding 2years after doing an intensive coarse my 1st bike was a CBR 600RR 2005..my total mileage todate on bikes is only 1100 miles [not inc lessons] so i am pretty much inexperienced...i have now done 202miles on the blade and its starting to free up nicely..but one thing i have noticed is the temp get up to about 103c when riding very slow in traffic and about 83c in normal riding does this sound normal guys? or shall i tell my dealer.. thanks guys/girls

Re: NEWBIE SAYING HI

welcome to the board, yes it's completely normal, they are designed to have continuous air flow through the radiator to cool it, if your sittig there or barely moving there's no airflow so it gets warmer
