Hello, I just purchased a 2001 CBR 600 F4i. It idles great when cold. However, when warm, it idles really low and eventually dies. It will pretty much keep idling(just really low) if you just let it sit but if you crack it, it dies when rpm's come back down. Also, it is not very responsive until about 5k rpm's. It has been neglected a bit. It seems like it has been lugged around. There is quite a bit of soot on the pipe outlet. Similarly, the plugs had slight carbon fouling. I had the plugs blasted and regapped to .036. No change. The kid I bought it from gave me a manual idle speed adjuster for it. He said it just needed to be installed. I think idle is controlled by a computer and I don't see anywhere to install it unless I remove the stock set screw. Any help appreciated!

i have a 954 and they use a manual idle screw, the computer, i think only controls the fast idle as the bike warms up. download a manual have a look, install the manual adjuster if required
