Another new guy

Hi

Not often Im new on a forum Ive got a 1994 CBR900RR which is gradually being converted to race. We have a class here for bikes older than 1995 which I intend to dominate Well probably not as most of the other guys are better riders but you have to have a dream. Anyway Ill be asking some tech questions and looking for cheap ways to improve the bike (already done the 17" front wheel thing) so feel free to volunteer stuff otherwise Ill start whoring it up all over here with questions

Thanks
Neil

Re: Another new guy

If you have to have a race bike, buy a good one from someone who is tired of racing and/or of sinking money into it. You can save a lot of money that way. I bought a complete race car a few years ago for less than the guy had in the engine alone. It would have cost me at least three times that much if I had built the car from scratch.

Re: Another new guy

Looked for some time for a bike already done, thats the path I went down with the 600. Trouble is not many 'old" bikes around that are race prepped. Had to bite the bullet and get a road bike in the end. Money pit
