just checking in - Never owned a Honda!

Hi everyone,

Well, I've been riding for close to 30 years on and off and have never owned a Honda!

Most recently I've had a few custom Harleys for general tooling around, A BMW R1150Rt which I ride in all weathers about 80-100 miles a day and I've been through a succession of Italian sports bikes, several Aprilias, a Ducati 999 &, most recently, an MV F4 1000.

Just thinking about maybe picking up a Blade for fun and a Pan to replace the aging RT.

Welcome Moley, I'm somewhat new myself to the board, you'll enjoy the guys, the tirades, the drama, the tech info and more. I've been riding for 35 years and have a new blade..the repsol edition. I purchased a Sargent custom seat and installed the Heli-bars to raise the handlebars a bit for comfort. Incredible bike, handling, acceleration, braking...too much fun.

An MV F4?

I can tell you one thing you'll like about Honda compared to your previous/current bikes..... maintenance will be a breeze.

Oh and I hope we can provide you with the information you'll need to finally come to the dark side.

Tried a Pan at the weekend, lots of good things but the damn screen was awful, seemed to really create a lot of turbulence and wind noise whatever position I had it in!

I'm sure there's aftermarket screens that can help though.
